Welcome to Livewell Learning Studio, where education is redefined for homeschooling families in California.
We are not a traditional school; instead, we offer a unique membership-based learning experience tailored specifically for home-schooled children. As a parent, you have the freedom to choose your preferred homeschooling option with the Department of Education for California.
Your membership includes access to our parent education curriculum, designed to assist you in managing your child’s homeschooling journey, including attendance records and documentation.
At Livewell Learning Studio, we collaborate with credentialed educators who create personalized curriculum plans for each child. However, we do not have conventional teachers delivering lesson plans. Instead, our Trained Guides facilitate learner-driven study halls, offering support and guidance as your child navigates their educational path. Our Guides are there to assist when needed, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Should your child require additional support in their studies, we provide access to credentialed tutors who can offer personalized assistance.
Attendance at our studio is not mandatory. With digital access to your child’s learning tools, you have the flexibility to complete schoolwork from the comfort of your home.

The Essentials
Our Approach
We customize and personalize learning through purposeful practices and passion-based enrichment offerings that align to the principles of mastery-based education, and hands-on experiential lessons that will produce independent and future ready children with strong moral character. Using thoughtful techniques, we guide the children in HOW to learn, so that they develop a love for learning, and are excited to dive deep into concepts to discover their passions and explore their interests. We are NOT a virtual program; we believe that getting children together, engaging, and socializing for in-person learning is the most beneficial way to develop skills, character, and mental health.
Livewell supports our student members to thrive in every aspect of life. They learn beyond the walls of brick-and-mortar studio with an education and support tailored to meet their needs and a deeply connected student and parent community.
What makes us special?
We are a membership-based private community that respects the rights and preferences of parents. We also respect religious and medical freedoms. We work to ensure that every member feels safe and secure when they are with us while respecting these freedoms. The following principles will always be upheld in our studio:
1. Children at Livewell are free to be innocent, well-adjusted children. The experience at Livewell will not rob them of their innocence nor will we ever impart our beliefs on them, and discuss topics that should be addressed by parents, at home.
2. To be respectful and considerate of all religions, Livewell does not celebrate any holidays. Members can certainly discuss and learn of each other’s religions, cultures, and backgrounds- as this can help us understand one another and create bonds.
3. We refrain from discussing trending topics, political/politically charged topics, trending controversial issues, and traumatic current events. Sensitive topics typically take time and understanding to diffuse. Knowing that, we are very purposeful about what is discussed in the Studio, and we may “sit” on a topic to digest and observe it before it becomes worthy of Studio discussion.
4. Our Guides and Leaders do not influence or program the children to have any specific belief about moral, philosophical, political issues/topics or worldview.
5. We expect parents to create the moral framework and value system at home. At Livewell we do NOT teach our Lions WHAT to think, rather teach them HOW to think and that it is important to always respect others with differing opinions. The Lions are encouraged to always seek to be understanding of other positions, and to treat everyone respectfully, without judgement.
6. Our members will never be subjected to obscene sex education.
